Eyvind and Cato won the Gr.N in Rally Elverum

Eyvind Brynildsen and Cato Menkerud won the second championship round in Gr.N class 3 in Elverum. Together, they won 7 of the 9 stages in Gr.N during Saturday's rally. Eyvind and Cato's important goal for the weekend was seat training leading up to the two exciting weeks to come, but also to compete for important championship points.

And it want very well, they want home with all the points. Not only was it valuable to get seat training, it also ended with a full score with points and a very happy Eyvind. -This has been a good day. There is a long time since I've had so much fun and it worked technically flawlessly during the rally, is great fun. Only a puncture meant that we could not fight for second place overall, - said a happy Eyvind after the finish.

Rally Elverum was new to Eyvind who have never done the rally, but he had a good feeling in Elverum, no doubt. -This has been an awesome event that has gone flawlessly. All praise to the organizers who have had a good rally with a lot nice roads and a lot of audience, said Brynildsen


Now everything is focused on Adapta Motorsport and the test of the Ford Fiesta WRC. There will even be two exciting weeks for the whole team and especially Eyvind who have never driven a WRC.

- I am looking forward to it, I pinch myself in the arm and wonder if it's true. Now we will first learn the car better on a test in the coming week, and then we'll see where we are.

As early as this coming weekend Eyvind and Cato will start for the first time in a WRC in the KNA Rally Finnskog, then carry it straight to Sweden for the new test and the start of the Norwegian / Swedish World rally round.
